Sapa is Located at 1500 meters (4921 feet) above sea level in Vietnam's remote northwest mountains, Sapa is famous for both its fine, rugged scenery and also its rich cultural diversity. Sapa is an incredibly picturesque town that lies in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range near the Chinese border in northwestern Vietnam, known as "the Tonkinese Alps". Sapa and its surrounding region is host to many hill tribes, as well as rice terraces, lush vegetation, and Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam .
In addition, Sapa is proud to own Fanxipan mountain peak, 3143 meters high, the highest mountain in Vietnam, like the roof of Indochina, covering misty all year round.
Located at the foot of the mountain are tropical thick forests covered with diverse and rich flora and fauna, mixed with waterfalls and streams flowing through the vegetation layers,
providing water in the lower valleys for living and cultivation of wet rice and other crops.
Inhabitants around the slopes and valleys are the villages of H Mong, Dao and Day, who sculptured the high mountain slopes, hillsides and valleys into magnificent and unique terraces for wet rice cultivation. and corn, cardamom ...

Notes:
This is a hard trek tour for clients who are fit and have good mobility plus some trekking experience. Heavy rain may cause difficulties and cause the paths to become dangerous at some stages of the trek.
The trip can be organized the whole year around. The landscape is at its most beautiful from May to September thanks to rice and corn farming. Unfortunately it is hot and wet then with especially heavy rainfall in July and August. The weather is nice in October, November and the first half of December. January and February are cold and foggy, but it does get better from March to April.
Personal luggage should weigh no more than 6kg while trekking. Good trekking shoes, rain gear and warm clothes are needed, especially in Jan and Feb and insect repellent should be brought.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Vietnam. Arriving at Noi Bai International Airport, Snail Adventure Tour guide and driver will greet and pick you up to the hotel at the heart of Hanoi capital. Hanoi, the antique and dynamic city of Vietnam, reserves a unique old world charm and several of the most striking colonial architecture of Asia. After the checking-in, Take relax by your own and do briefing itinerary with our guide for coming days. enjoy a cyclo ride through the bustling streets in the Old Quarter to discover the ancient and modern beauty of Hanoi. Day 2: Hanoi – Lao Cai
After breakfast, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, starting at the President’s Mausoleum. You continue to his humble “house on stilts”, see the French colonial Presidential Palace from outside and the 11th century One-Pillar Pagoda. Following is a visit to the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam built in 11th century. Next is a visit to the Museum of Ethnology, which gives an excellent overview of the country's ethnic groups, their customs and ways of life. The highlight here is the large, beautiful outdoor area featuring genuine houses and compounds as built and used by the many different ethnic groups. You then drive to Hanoi Center, explore the lively Old Quarter of Hanoi. This bustling heart in Hanoi, has been a commercial centre since King Ly Thai To built his palace there in the 11th century. Skilled craftsmen started to migrate and artisan guilds were formed on the famous "36 Streets". Previously, each street carried the name of the item produced and sold there, and many still have the same names. This is a place you must see to experience Hanoi ,, where you will find shopping and cultural/historical sites all wrapped into one. The rest of the day is free at leisure until transfer to the train station to board your overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train
Note: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum opens in the morning only and closes on Mondays & Fridays and the whole months of September & October for anual maintenance. Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts is closed on Monday & Friday afternoon. Most of Hanoi’s museums also close on Mondays, except Museum of Vietnam Women & Museum of Vietnam Fine Arts

Day 3: Morning arrival, transfer to Sapa Town and Trekking from Tram Ton – Sin Chai Village
Upon arriving Of Lao Cai Station, our crew will meet you and transfer one hour to Sapa town for breakfast. Enjoy brilliant breakfast in boutique hotel and overlooking Fanxipang summit. Following to breakfast, we divide our lugguage for trekking day and overnight seperately before commence our trekking trip to
Tram Ton Pass with a short top at the Silver Waterfall. Walk 15 minutes around the Heaven Gate for magnificent scenery of the other side of Hoang Lien Son range.
Start trekking from Tram Ton along a narrow trail sneaking on mountain sides through the thick rain forest of the Hoang Lien Nature Reserve mostly downhill for nearly 3 hours, then getting along the upstream part of the Muong Hoa River for the whole afternoon until reaching a H’mong village. Walk around to explore the village, paying visit to local homes as well as getting intact with villagers. Arriving to home-stay at about 5.00 pm.

Day 4: Sin Chai – Cat cat – Y linh Ho village
Having amazing pancake for breakfast with our host, we say good bye them and commence our new hiking trip from peaceful village trek to Cat Cat Waterfall. Short rest at this nature wonders and continue up and downhill along the Vang Stream for over 4 hours through part of Hoang Lien National Park covered by thick bamboo and rain forest, passing several isolated hamlets of the Black H’mong.Arrive to another H'mong village in mid afternoon, walk around to explore the village for 1 hour and then settle down for relax at local home.

Day 5: Y Linh Ho -Lao Hang Chai – Seo mi ty
Start trekking from home stay along a large path for an hour to another H’mong village, passing several hamlets along the way with traces of the past sifting way of life. Enjoy spectacular scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley.The trail becomes narrow and tough uphill through bamboo and then later thick rain the Hoang Lien National Park. Nearly 5 hours trek in the reach nature and some times the trail gets out of the forest to offer stunning panorama of the long and large valley below. Arriving in a H'mong village, remotely located in a charming valley at the height 1567 m above sea level in late afternoon, free time to relax by the stream near the newly built hydraulic power station.

Day 6: Seo My Ty – Den Thang – Ta Trung Ho
Easy walk for 20 minutes and then trekking 2 hours along a tougher trail winding downhill through thick rain forest to a ethnic village. Explore this village and then lunch break.Leaving this isolated hamlet, the trail continuing along a narrow stream up and downhill through the wildest land of Sapa for about 4 hours to a Red Zao village. Arriving at the homestay at about 5.00 pm. Explore the village, getting in touch to locals. This is a special occasion to both visitors and locals.

Day 7: Ta Trung Ho –Nam Ngan – Nam Sang – Ban Sai
Challenging along a narrow dirt trail sneaking on steep hill sides through narrow & sharp canyon from the height of 950 m up to nearly 1,500m for the whole morning.Lunch break at the top of the mountain in the forest. Then following the same trail downhill for 1,5 hour through the forest to another Red Zao village. Walk around to explore this quiet and charming village. Then following larger dirt path 1 hour downhill to a village, inhabited by the Xa Pho peoples. Paying visiting to local homes here for interesting discovery of the unique way of living. The Xa Pho is a sub group of the Phu La ethnic whose population is just about 4,000 in Vietnam and still live a primary way.Arrive in a local home.

Day 8: Ban Sai – Nam Nhiu – Nam Than – Sin Chai B Village
Trekking along a large & good path uphill to a Red Zao village and then continue along a dirt path for 1,5 hour to another village where both the Red Dzao and the H'mong live together. This portion of the trek offers stunning view as well as chances to understand life of tribal peoples in remote land.Continue trekking through wild land dotting with terraced fields, bamboo forest…Lunch break.Continue for 2, 5 hours in the afternoon along the same trail passing through the land of the Red Zao. Check in home-stay, having a short rest and enjoy an easy walk to explore this charming and quiet village.

Day 9: Sin Chai B Village- Nam Lang A Village – Nam Lang B village – Ta Thang – Lao Cai
Trek along a narrow dirt trail for ½ hour to the bottom of the valley and gradually uphill for nearly 2 hours to 2 villages of the Red Zao. Enjoying several visiting to local homes for learning more fact about the life and way of living of the Red Zao.Lunch will be provided en route. Following a large and rocky road for ½ hour to the top of the mountain range, then the trek gradually getting downhill to a village inhabited by both the Red Zao and the Tay. Continue along the same trail downhill for nearly 2 hours to Ta Thang Village which offers wide view of the Red River Valley which runs through the Bao Yen District.
Picked up at Ta Thang for an hour road transfer to Lao Cai. Here you may want to have a short rest before taking the night train to Hanoi..

Day 10: Hanoi on arrival and departure
The Train will pull you back to Hanoi early morning. Cost are based in USD $ and coverted to Vietnamese Dong ( VND). Therefore all costs are subject to currency fluctuations. If you wish to avoid any currency surchages should there be a change in the exchange rate, you can pay for your trip inadvance of the balance date. A non –refundable deposit of 30% per person is required at the time you make a reservation. If the booking can not be confirmed your deposit will be refunded in full. The final ballance is due 30 days prior to the commencement of your holiday and is payable by cash or internet banking. Failure to pay by due date could result in cancellation

Cash price are shown as per the price insert. We welcome credit card payment by VISA or MASTERCARD for your convennience but owning to the bank charges we are forced to apply a 3% surcharge to every credit card transaction.
Booking Amendments
If you alter your booking after confirmation of your reservation and amendment Free fee per booking will be charged to cover administration costs incurred. If you change your reservations after the holiday has commenced. Our company can not accepted any liability for loss, damage and additional expense and no refund will be made.
Cancellation:
If we cancel your booking : if the trip is cancelled due to natural disaster such as flooding, earthquake etc. Or insufficient participants to proceed with a tour, the operator reserves the right to cancel a trip 25 days prior to commencement. A full refund of all monies paid will be refunded. We shall endeavour to provide a suitable alternative where possible.
