Day 01: Hanoi – Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we begin our exciting journey north-east, leaving behind the bustling city of Hanoi to explore the incredible landscapes of Far North Vietnam. The scenic drive takes us through lush valleys and picturesque villages, offering a glimpse of the breathtaking beauty of this region. Prepare to be amazed by the lush greenery, rugged mountains, and traditional rural villages along the way. Along the journey, we’ll stop for lunch with local communities, giving us a chance to immerse ourselves in the unique culture of the ethnic hill tribes in the area.

After lunch, we’ll get our bikes ready for an unforgettable cycling adventure through the Far North of Vietnam. We’ll embark on an amazing ride along scenic winding roads, passing through single track trails, dirt roads, and even buffalo tracks. As we cycle through this stunning landscape, we’ll cross streams and cycle past vast rice terrace paddy fields, all while exploring remote villages of the Coin Dzao, Tay, Nung, and Hmong people. Day 2: Ha Giang – Quang Ba – Yen Minh

Today’s cycling adventure takes us through some of the most scenic landscapes of Ha Giang! After a hearty breakfast, we set off from the town, cycling through the lush terraced rice paddy fields that define the stunning beauty of this region. As we continue, we’ll ride through minority villages, immersing ourselves in the authentic local culture of the ethnic communities that call this area home.

Our journey then leads us to a thrilling 25-kilometer climb through the limestone mountain range, where we ascend 800 meters towards the famous Heaven Gate 1 pass. The winding roads offer a challenging but rewarding ride, as we cycle through mountain villages, sometimes shrouded in mist, where we’re greeted with friendly smiles from the local hill tribes. The breathtaking views from the summit are unforgettable, including the stunning Tam Son Valley with its iconic Twin Hills and the picturesque Quan Ba town. We’ll take a break at the top for a well-deserved lunch, surrounded by some of the most impressive karst mountain landscapes in Vietnam.

After lunch, we’ll continue our ride, descending to the Gam River, then tackling another pass. The next section offers a challenging combination of climbs and descents, with some relatively flat terrain that takes us to an altitude of 1,025 meters. Along the way, we’ll have the chance to observe the traditional homes of the Chinese ethnic communities, who have maintained their rich cultural heritage for generations.

Day 3: Yen Minh – Mau Due – Lung Phin – Dong Van

Soon, we arrive at a bustling village market, where brightly-costumed villagers trade everything from piglets to bamboo shoots and forest fodder. This lively market is an excellent opportunity to experience the heart of rural Northern Vietnam.

After exploring the market, we follow a river for a short stretch, eventually reaching the ruins of an ancient defensive wall. This historical site sets the stage for our next challenge—an exciting climb up the Ha Giang Plateau. The initial climb serves as a great warm-up before the more intense ascent that awaits us after lunch. As we enter the Ha Giang Plateau, the landscape transforms into an awe-inspiring panorama, with rugged limestone cliffs, vast valleys, and vibrant green fields. With each switchback, the stunning views continue to unfold, making it clear why this area is known as one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Vietnam.

Day 4: Dong Van – Lung Cu Flag Pole – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac

Along the way, we’ll visit the Hmong King Palace (also known as the Vuong Chi Sinh Palace), a historic site that offers a glimpse into the region’s rich heritage.

Our journey continues as we cycle towards the stunning Lung Cu Flag Pole, a landmark that marks the northernmost point of Vietnam. After exploring this iconic site, we set off on the winding road to Meo Vac. The route offers stunning views of vast gorges and the Nho Que River, with Ma Pi Leng Pass providing one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Vietnam, from an altitude of around 1500 meters. The road here is undulating and serpentine, making it an exhilarating ride for cyclists seeking both a challenge and the chance to admire nature’s wonders.

Upon reaching Meo Vac, settle into this charming town, a true hidden gem where the local hill tribes have preserved their traditional way of life. Meo Vac has only recently become accessible thanks to newly constructed roads, making it a privilege to experience this remote area and its untouched beauty.

Day 5: Meo Vac – Mau Due – Du Gia

Get ready for an exciting day of exploration as we cycle through the stunning Dong Van Geological Plateau, part of the UNESCO Global Geopark. This is your chance to experience the raw beauty of Northern Vietnam’s most dramatic landscapes—majestic mountain ranges, towering limestone peaks, and vast valleys.

Our adventure begins in the border town of Meo Vac, where we embark on an epic cycling journey. Prepare for a true test of endurance as we climb over 5 km of steep terrain with an elevation gain of more than 200 meters. The gravel roads wind their way through the rugged landscape before we reach Sa Phin Village. As we cycle through the cat-eared rocky mountains, the landscape transforms into a surreal, poetic vista, with towering cliffs and sharp rock formations—it's like cycling through a living artwork, showcasing the natural grandeur of Ha Giang Province.

After taking in the incredible scenery, we descend into the valley and approach the second pass, the M-Pass, which takes us across both sides of the mountain range and leads us to the beautiful Mau Due Valley for a well-deserved lunch.

After refueling, we continue our journey, conquering the remaining two passes: the Mau Due Lung Ho Summit and the final stretch into Du Gia Valley. The lush landscapes and the awe-inspiring views along the road will keep us energized as we cycle through this remote and untouched part of Vietnam’s countryside. The beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings make this an unforgettable day in the heart of Ha Giang’s best cycling routes.

Today’s route features incredible mountain passes, with steep climbs and winding roads leading us to Lung Ho Summit, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of rugged mountain ranges and the stunning Lung Ho Valley. If you're lucky, you’ll catch a breathtaking sunrise over the mystical valley and surrounding hill tribe villages, creating an unforgettable start to the day.

Our journey continues with an exhilarating challenge as we cycle up a steep pass filled with switchbacks and twists, leading to the summit. Once we’ve reached the top, take a moment to appreciate the incredible scenery before we refuel with cold drinks and tasty snacks. After a brief break, we descend into Lung Ho Commune, where we leave the main road behind and explore narrow valleys lined with lush cornfields and groundnut plantations—a perfect opportunity to immerse in the local culture and enjoy the serenity of the Ha Giang countryside.

We then take on the second steep hill of the day, winding our way through canopy forests and up hillsides, with lush greenery on either side. As we approach the summit, the views continue to amaze and inspire. After another quick refreshment stop, we cycle into the hidden valleys for a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.

Once we’ve recharged, we gear up for our final challenge—a climb up to Thai An. From there, we begin our descent toward Ha Giang Town, where our journey concludes. Upon arrival at the hotel, take some time to relax and unwind. Explore Ha Giang Town, try the local beer, and enjoy a well-earned dinner. End the day with an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel in Ha Giang, reflecting on an unforgettable cycling adventure through the heart of Northern Vietnam.

Day 7: Ha Giang – Hanoi

A well-deserved lunch at a local restaurant gives us the chance to recharge before we prepare for the journey back. After lunch, we load our bikes onto a truck and enjoy a comfortable transfer back to Hanoi, reflecting on the incredible cycling tour through Ha Giang and its beautiful countryside.

Whilst each hotel is usually one of the most comfortable available, limitations are imposed by the itinerary to make it inevitable that sometimes the standard of accommodation may vary from place to place. Single room are generally booked for privacy than comfort and are of limited availability

Deposit and ballance payment
A non –refundable deposit of 30% per person is required at the time you make a reservation. If the booking can not be confirmed your deposit will be refunded in full. The final ballance is due 30 days prior to the commencement of your holiday and is payable by cash or internet banking. Failure to pay by due date could result in cancellation
Payment by credit card
Cash price are shown as per the price  insert. We welcome credit card payment by VISA or MASTERCARD for your convennience but owning to the bank charges we are forced to apply a 3% surcharge to every credit card transaction. 
Booking Amendments
If you alter your booking after confirmation of your reservation and amendment free fee per booking will be charged to cover administration costs incurred. If you change your reservations after the holiday has commenced. Our company can not accepted any liability for loss, damage and additional expense and no refund will be made.
Cancellation:
If we cancel your booking : if the trip is cancelled  due to natural disaster such as flooding, earthquake etc. Or insufficient participants to proceed with a tour, the operator reserves the right to cancel a trip 25 days prior to commencement. A full refund of all monies paid will be refunded. We shall endeavour to provide a suitable alternative where possible.
