Itinerary

Looking for an off-the-beaten-track adventure? Look no further than Ha Giang! Located more than 200 km from Hanoi, in the northeast of Vietnam, Ha Giang is a hidden gem that remains one of the last provinces in Vietnam to open to visitors. Known for its rugged beauty and untouched landscapes, Ha Giang offers an unforgettable cycling tour experience for adventure seekers.

From spectacular limestone pinnacles and granite outcrops to ancient primeval forests and towering mountains, the Ha Giang rocky plateau is a paradise for cyclists and nature lovers. The H'Mong people, who have called this area home for generations, live in small, picturesque villages carved into the hillsides. The scenery is nothing short of breathtaking, with winding roads that reveal mysterious, majestic passes, dense clouds, and valleys full of rustic hill tribe villages.

The Ha Giang Bicycle Loop is one of the best Vietnam bicycle tours, leading you through this extraordinary region. Cycling the Ha Giang loop is the perfect way to uncover the hidden charm of Dong Van Plateau, a UNESCO Global Geopark known for its dramatic limestone karst landscapes. The route between Yên Minh and Dong Van, and across the iconic Mai Pi Leng Pass to Meo Vac, is truly out of this world, offering some of the most scenic cycling routes in the country.

The 6-day Ha Giang cycling tour takes you through incredible landscapes and vibrant local cultures, including stops at the Khau Vai Love Market, the Quan Ba Sky Gate, and the towering Lung Cu Flag Tower. With its rocky terrain and breathtaking vistas, this tour offers mountain biking enthusiasts an unrivaled adventure through Vietnam’s most rugged and beautiful regions.

Ha Giang’s proximity to the Chinese border has kept visitor numbers low, making it a rare and unspoiled destination that offers a true off-the-beaten-path experience. Explore the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, home to fossils dating back 400-600 million years, and discover the rich cultural diversity of this unique area. Here, you’ll encounter a melting pot of cultures, with Chinese Hoa, H'mong, Tay, and Kinh people living side by side in traditional homes that reflect the town's rich history.

Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure bike tour in Northern Vietnam? Join us on the Ha Giang Bicycle Loop and experience the best Vietnam cycling tour as you cycle through one of the country’s most awe-inspiring landscapes!
