Ha Giang is the northernmost province of Vietnam. A remote mountainous province with majestic mountains and nearly 30 ethnic minorities with vivid, colorful costumes and unique cultural characteristics. Although the rest of Vietnam was very familiar to tourists, Ha Giang has in recent years been known as a new tourist destination for those who love nature, love the sense of adventure and want to participate in simple, rustic life of poor people in this land.
Ha Giang is also a central province in the mountainous areas of Northern Vietnam. From Ha Giang travelers can also easily connect to other tourist attractions in the Northern mountainous province like Bac Ha, Sapa and Lai Chau, Dien Bien in the West or Ban Gioc waterfall, Ba Be lake, Lang Son province in the East.

Day 01: Hanoi - Ha Giang
After a refreshing sleep and a delicious early breakfast, embark upon the first leg of your journey. Hop in your awaiting car and set out on the scenic 5 hours road trip north. Along the way, stop off in the charming town of Tuyen Quang for a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. Pay a visit to the Tan Trao Historical Relic which includes Tan Trao Communal House, Hong Thai Communal House and the Tan Trao banyan tree, before arriving in Ha Giang, where you’ll check in Truong Xuan Ecolodge.

Day 02: Ha giang – Quang Ba – Yen Minh - Dong Van
Get your first look at the stunning scenery of Ha Giang province with a view of Heaven’s Gate and Fairy Mountain at Quan Ba. Next, explore the Vuong Family Mansion, a dynastical house exhibiting traditional architectural features. In the afternoon, take in the bustling Quyet Tien Market, the center of trade for local minority groups, and visit an authentic house of the Lolo people whose numbers are fast dwindling in Sung La. Finally, after a busy day, rest for the night at the Hoa Cuong Hotel in Dong Van.

Day 03: Dong Van - Meo Vac - Du Gia
Following to hearty breakfast in hotel, we join in Sunday market in Dong Van to experience colorful hill tribes market where ethnic minority from all corner of district set their way to market in early morning. They exchange their own products with each other from vegetable to cattle, poultry in each corner.
Continue your discovery of northern Vietnamese culture and scenery by jumping on bus to take in the stunning vistas of the Dong Van plateau, experience Ma Phi Leng pass – Known as one of most incredible passes in Far North Vietnam. Joining between Dong Van and Meo Vac district, Ma Phi Leng boasts magnificent scenery and outstanding sights in Ha Giang, spending time to walk along tiny adventureous road to white cliff mount where we take over view into Nho Que River. Meeting again our support vehicle in exit way to transfer to Meo Vac for lunch. After lunch meal, we continue our adventure trip through Dong Van Geopark to admire breathtaking rocky mountains to Mau Due. Stop on Mau Due summit to take picturesque scenery before descending drive to Du Gia for stay overnight.

Day 04: Du Gia - Minh Ngoc - Ha Giang – Phuong Tien
Enjoy breakfast with home – made pan cake, sipping hot coffee and honey jasmine tea while observing daily life of local people and stunning scenery slowly pass in scenic valley. Say good bye our lovely host, we jump on bus to start new adventure day from ecovillage to Ha Giang. Today is another beautiful day in our trip.
The first stage, we will be driving through winding route with sharp bents and soaring mountain ranges to Bac Me bunker,spending time to learn and take photo this historical relic.
The second stage, we will drive on hill top before descending to Ha Giang City for lunch. After lunch meal, we enjoy gently flat road through city to Phuong Do and Phuong Tien Ecohome village to stay.

Day 05: Ha Giang - Hanoi Departure
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will take an easy walk to visit Thon Tha Village, the village of the Tay people. You will have the peaceful feeling while viewing the scenery of stilt houses with thatch roves and palm trees
We jump in your car and relax as the gorgeous scenery glides past, all the way back to Hanoi about a six hours drive. From here, you can continue to enjoy Vietnam or connect to your departure flight at Hanoi airport.

If you alter your booking after confirmation of your reservation and amendment free fee per booking will be charged to cover administration costs incurred.
