You will be not only able to ride a bicycle, admire the fairy scenery but also conquer the spectacular passes hidden in the morning mist, winding around the mountainside or crossing the dreamy valleys.

Our Vietnam Backroads Bicycle tours begins hilltop Sapa Town and looking forward to cycling in the frontier district  Muong Khuong of Lao Cai, then begins a challenging but equally exciting journey whilst cycling on border belt road, witnessing the daily life of Vietnamese and hil tribal people, watching the majestic and lyrical landscape in the top part of the country.
we will also continue cycling through the valleys, the idyllic village of the Hmong people  whose is hidden in the old forest that civilization has not yet approached them.
Our trip will continue further in far northeast Vietnam to explore one of worthy waiting destination in our cycling trip.

Ha Giang is the most attractive destination in the country, with Happiness Road, Dong Van Plateau, Khau Vai Love Market, Quan Ba Sky Gate, mysterious, majestic, twisting and winding passes. Hidden in dense clouds, far down the valley are simple and simple villages of H'mong people.
More than 200 km from Hanoi, located in the northeast of Vietnam, Ha Giang is the last province of the country to open to visitors in recent years, spectacular scenery, primeval forests, high mountains. Natural fortresses are carved into steps, the rocky plateaus are divided by fanciful stone alleys. This majestic landscape has been home to many generations of H Mong people.
The spectacular and dangerous roads in the Ha Giang rocky plateau not only challenge those who love to explore and move, but also make many people "heartbreaking" because of their amazing beauty. Nature on those roads always wears green and green clothes, full of vitality, creating a ravishing scene, both poetic and mysterious, making you dazzled in the indescribable series of emotions.

Day 01: Hanoi Arrival and Transfer to Sapa. 

Warmy welcome to Hanoi by early flight ....... our  diver and team will greet you and assist to exchange money. We will depart to Lao Cai via new highway . you will admire scenic beauty in the North Vietnam through window. Have lunch enroute. After lunch we continue to Lao Cai border city. Take short break to walk around and take picture city and boder gate before ascending to Sapa Hill Station . arriving in Sapa do check in . have dinner in local reastaurant.

Day 02: Sapa Back Road  Bicycle tours

Have breakfast in hotel, we start cycling from Hotel descendingly to Muong Hoa Valley to explore all highlight of Sapa Today.   Sapa valley boasts magnificent rice terraces, colourful hill tribe villages and breathtaking scenic beauty. 
You leave the hustle and bustle Sapa touristic area  behind, we ride on descending paved road, off the beaten track, single track, and dirt road , cross the suspension bridge to Lao Chai – Ta Van Village,  you will meet and talk with local people on the way we passby. Or visit their home to learn their life and culture.  Crossing again the bridge to  paved road lead to Su Phan and  down to  Den Thang, Thanh kim, Thanh phu , have lunch in local family. After lunch, we continue to ride on single track, dirt road, passing many villages and stream to Nam Cang Riverside Lodge where we will stay overnight with Dao Family. Dinner and stay overnight in Homestay.

Day 03: Nam Cang  mountain Bike Tours Thanh Phu – Gia phu – Lao Cai

Wake up early in the morning to participate with local activities or just walk around the village to enjoy pristine nature and peaceful villages. Have breakfast with traditional pancake and banana cake, try herbal tea with the Host . we start our cycling from homestay, passing  villages and villages, rice terrace, streams and  buffalo road lead to  Sin Chai A, Thanh Phu, Nam Cang, Nam Sai, Suoi Thau , have lunch in Suoi Thau .We continue to ride on undulating route and steep pass at the end of distance to Xuan Giao Section. You will be fascinated by extraordinary scenery, sublime limestone mountain and  peaceful hill tribe villages. Upon arriving of finish line,  do check in and have dinner in frontier city Lao Cai.

Day 04: Lao  Cai Cycle Tours Muong Khuong – Bac Ha

After recharging energy, we depart early to Muong Khuong Sunday Market. 
Muong khuong is frontier district of Lao Cai province, share border line with Yunnan province, is home of  14 different hill tribe peoples, of which Hmong is majority. Cycling and attending colourful Sunday Muong khuong market is unique and brilliant way to experience and explore the untouched regions, longstanding culture of Hmong people. Additionally, you have chance to capture fascinating landscapes and colourful people on the way to market.
After visiting market, we start our first day bicycle tours in Far North Vietnam along border belt to challlenge the first tough and rough slopes of mountain before descending to Lung Khau Nhin Market.
We will actually meet and conquer the second incredible pass from Lung Khau Nhin to Cao Son and Ta Thang commune with 20km km long . However, the scenery and landscapes on route will make you more excited.  Upon arrving on summit, we have picnic lunch and relax.
After recharging energy, we will be rewarded by descending and winding its way on narrow road, along cliff mounatin and Chay River to Coc Ly bridge. you will be overwhelmed  by magnificent  and extraordinary nature in Far North Vietnam. Our trip will continue to challenge the last 10 km on scenic route and village life to Bac Ha town. Upon arriving in Hotel, do feast yoursel with cold beer and soft drink for refreshment.

Day 05: Bac Ha - Lung Phinh – Ban Gia – Ta Cu Ty – Ban Lien – Bac Ha Cycling route

To day is amazing day with full of highlight and cultural values when we cycle through rice terraces and around  villages to village.  Admire incredible scenic beauty, unspoiled nature and colourful hill tribal villages. 
Our cycling day will start after recharing fully energy for breakfast, setting off on single track trail and and dirt path to cycle rough and tough hill road, passing serries quaint villages and stunning rice terrace to Ta Cu Ty village.
We will actually immerse yourself in fairyland and outstanding landscapes of Far North Vietnam. We will keep gearing up and challenge 12 km from Tan Xuan to the top of Ban Lien pass. Upon arriving in slope of mountain we, descent to Ban Lien village for picnic lunch. After recharging fully energy, we grear up our bikes again to challenge another 10 km of steep pass, winding its way along mountain and tropical forest into pinnacle of mountain.  from the top of mountain, you will rewarded by breathtaking scenery and panoramic sights into dreamlike valley of Nam Khanh. Our last stage of cycling day is long and long descent to dam of hydro power plan and ascent again short distance to undulating road leading to Bac Ha Town again.

Day 06: Bac Ha Bike Ride Hoang Su Phi -  Ho Thau

After breakfast, taking short transfer to avoid steep pass. Setting  off our way from Lung Phinh section, cycling on scenic route, passing many authentic Hmong hill tribe villages to Nam Ma for refresment.  After refreshing up energy, we gear up our bikes on winding road with sharp bends to slope then rock and roll down to Coc Pai town for picnic lunch.
Following to picnic lunch, we commence riding along River to admire spectacular rice terrace scenery and towering mountain ranges dotted with hill tribes village. Conquer long climb on winding road lead to slope of Ho Thau Village

Day 07: Ho Thau  cycle tours Nam Son Nam Ai  - Thong Nguyen - Panhou

we start morning cycle after having Vietnamese style for breakfast, setting off along a narrow  single track from Ban Luoc for 6 km to the center of Ho Thau Commune then following  a single track gradually ascending through the Nam Ly river 10 km to Trung Son village. Challenging 4 km undulating and steep trail lead to suspension bridge to another bank of Nam Ly river. Turning off  a larger single dirt track up hill for 5 km to Chien Thang village and then gradually down hill for 6km to the center of Ho thau commune. Arriving in Ho Thau ride on paved road  descending to Thong Nguyen. Commune. Stay over night in Panhou eco resort.

Day 08: Thong Nguyen– Ha Giang Cycling loop

Located in Vietnam’s farnorth, Ha Giang is the northernmost province which shares 270km long border to Yunnan province of China and bounded by Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang and Cao Bang provinces. Covering an area of 7945.8 square kilometres, mainly comprising of limestone peaks and outcrops which help to create amazingly beautiful landscapes, while its population of 705,100 people belongs to 23 ethnic groups has formed a colorful culture and tradition. Cycling on the road between Hoang Su Phi and Hagiang offer for travelers one of the most prestine  beautiful limestone mountains and marvelous rice terrace scenery, along with National Rice Terrace  Heritage in Mu Cang Chai, Rice Terrace beauty in Hoang Su Phi is listed as National Heritage of Northeast Vietnam, and take short visit tribal villages  in side road,we also conquer some big hills before going down to Viet Quang then transfer to Hotel in Ha Giang.Have dinner and stay Phoenix Hotel.

Day 09: Ha Giang cycle tours  Quan Ba

Having hearty breakfast in Hotel, we get back on bikes to set off our way to cycle and enjoy 18 km on undulating route with  the landscape of terraced rice paddy fields to Minh Tan Section.
After warming up and stretching ourlegs, we actually challenge and ascent the first incredible pass with 25km up winding roads into the vast limestone mountain range with its perpendicular walls of rock, climbing 800m towards the mountain road pass “Heaven gate 1”. 
Have lunch enroute. Following to lunch meal, we kick off our pedals again to challenge amazing pass through mountain villages sometimes covered by cloud, we will receive a friendly greeting from the local communities. From the pass we can look down at amazing views, including the famous vista of the Tam Son valley with the ‘Twin Hills and can spy Quan Ba town.  Decescendingly ride to Hmong Village Resort

Day 10: Quan Ba bike challenge  Yen Minh

After recharging fully energy for new adventure day,  Hopping on our bikes from Resort , we cycle on asphalt road and descent 10 km through Hmong village, cross bridge and cycle along stunning riverside to meet the  first hilltop today. We cycle uphill for the first 18 km before a descent of around 3 km and then relatively flat terrain for the next 3km. It’s a challenging up and down terrain to an altitude of 1.025m before we make a final descent for the last 15km into Yen Minh. We will have the chance to see the traditional homes of the local hill tribes. The communities in this area are Chinese.

Day 11:  Yen Minh ride to  Dong van

Today is great and incredible day with us whilst cycling in the heart of world listed Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.
Have hearty breakfast in hotel and take a quick visit colourful hill tribe market  nearby hotel and then commence cycling on the way of Happiness road to Dong Van. You are rewarded by pristine nature and magnificent karsk Plateau scenery while cycling ascending to summit. Stop to visit and explore Hmong King Palace ( Vuong Chi Sinh Palace)  and then we continue cycling to Lung Cu Pole Flag Tower. Have lunch enroute. After lunch we keep riding on back road to Dong Van Town. Upon arriving, do check in and have relax by your own.

Day 12: Dong Van – Mau Due – Du Gia backroads

Today is really another great day in the journey to discover and conquer the Dong Van geological plateau.
After a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant with bread with chicken egg or, noodle soup with beef or and chicken, feast yourself to a cup of strong coffee. We start our cycling journey at the border town of Dong Van, where we embark on bike to enjoy 2 km on flat road before  conquering  incredible pass – Ma Phi Leng  connect between in two towns Dong Van and Meo Vac. It is terrific and amazing scenery when we cycle on slope of mountain to admire extraordinerary sightseeing, reflecting crystal water from Nho Que River
we challenge 7 km ascendingly ride on winding road with sharp turn to the top. Cycling descendingly  16 Km along the hillside and winding route to Meo Vac Town. Upon arriving Meo Vac. We do regroup and challenge again the route from Meo vac – Mau Due.
Gettingback on bike to test our endurance with a slope of more than 5 km with an altitude of more than 200 meters on a gravel road. and concrete zigzags through the cliffs to reach the Sa Phin village. Here, the long slope begins to pass through the towering cat-eared rocky mountains or weaves through a forest of high sharp rocks to create a scene that is as majestic, mysterious and poetic as contemplative rock paintings. boasting in the vastness of heaven and earth.
Our journey quickly descends to the valley before meeting the second pass, the M-pass crossing the two sides of the mountain range to come to Mau Due valley for lunch.
After refueling for the next journey, we conquer the remaining 2 passes  Mau Due Lung Ho Summit before plunging into Du Gia valley. The beautiful scenery on the road always makes us excited and full of energy to finish the last distance.

Day 13: Du Gia – Ha Giang Bicycle Tours

Saying good bye our host, we commence our excited cycling day from village, setting our way to ride ascendingly to summit for 10 km then rolling down to Minh Son and Minh Ngoc Commune for picnic lunch. After filling up our energy, we commence our cycling on scenic route to admire peaceful hill tribes village on way to Minh Ngoc town.
Challenging steep pass with winding route and sharp bends to summit, refreshment with cold water and snack before descenting to Ha Giang city. Upon arriving of hotel do check in and discover city by yourself, have dinner and stay in in luxury hotel in Ha Giang.

After recharging energy, we load up our bike on truck and transfer back to Hanoi.
