Ha Giang is the final frontier in northern Vietnam an amazing landscape of limestone pinnacles and granite outcrops. The far north of the province has some of the most spectacular scenery in the country, and the trip between Yen Minh and Dong Van, and then across the Mai Pi Leng Pass to Meo Vac is quite mind-blowing. Ha Giang should be one of the most popular destinations in this region, but its proximity to the Chinese border still keeps visitor numbers at a low level.
Ha Giang is the most attractive destination in the country, with Happiness Road, Dong Van Plateau, Khau Vai Love Market, Quan Ba Sky Gate, mysterious, majestic, twisting and winding passes. Hidden in dense clouds, far down the valley are simple and simple villages of H'mong people.
More than 200 km from Hanoi, located in the northeast of Vietnam, Ha Giang is the last province of the country to open to visitors in recent years, spectacular scenery, primeval forests, high mountains. Natural fortresses are carved into steps, the rocky plateaus are divided by fanciful stone alleys. This majestic landscape has been home to many generations of H Mong people.
The spectacular and dangerous roads in the Ha Giang rocky plateau not only challenge those who love to explore and move, but also make many people "heartbreaking" because of their amazing beauty. Nature on those roads always wears green and green clothes, full of vitality, creating a ravishing scene, both poetic and mysterious, making you dazzled in the indescribable series of emotions.
7 Days cycling adventure in Ha Giang is incredible way to disclose the hidden charm of the rocky Dong Van plateau. A registered UNESCO Global Geopark, 80% of the terrain is covered by rock and it is said to contain fossils from 400 - 600million years ago. Nestled in a valley in the heart of the Rock Plateau, is the isolated town of Dong Van, very close to the Chinese border and surrounded by mountain forest and multi-coloured orchids. Meaning 'sharing culture' Dong Van is occupied by Chinese Hoa, and H'mong, Tay and Kinh People. The houses are built in Chinese style.
