Right at the foot of the absolutely gorgeous Tay Con Linh mountain, Mother Nature has blessed this land and its people with some truly incredible and gorgeous landscapes.
The lovely Hoang Su Phi district is proud to have some beautiful old forests, ancient San Tuyet tea hills, and, most of all, terraced fields winding up and down the slopes, hills, and valleys that have captivated many visitors when they come to this wonderful land.
Every late May and early June, when the rainy season begins, it's also the time when an entire area of Hoang Su Phi district puts on a new coat of iridescent colors under the sun. It's a truly magical sight to behold! The fields are so neat and tidy, zigzagging all around the hillsides and slopes of the mountain. It's no wonder visitors from all over the world are always so surprised! You'll be amazed at what the human hand can do!
As summer gives way to autumn, it's also the time when the rice is ripe. You'll be treated to a splendid and beautiful yellow Hoang Su Phi, just like in a picture!

Day 1: Morning Train Lao Cai – Transfer to Muong Khuong  Cycle to Bac Ha

Good morning! The train arrives at Lao Cai Station at 5:30 a.m., and our wonderful local guide is there to greet you with a warm welcome. Then, we'll head to a local restaurant for breakfast.
Once you've had a chance to recharge your batteries and get ready for another exciting day, we'll hop on a bus and head to Muong Khuong, the frontier district of Lao Cai province. You'll be blown away by the incredible scenery and panoramic views as we wind our way through the mountains. After a short two-hour transfer from the station, we'll arrive at our cycling point in Muong Khuong. There, we'll meet our wonderful supported team and bikes! 
We'll set off on a lovely morning's ride along gravel and asphalt roads, winding our way through the hills and mountains to Lung Khau Nhin. We might even challenge ourselves with some steep passes with broken roads and potholes along the way! And we are rewarded with some truly magical scenery and outstanding landscapes on both sides of the mountain!
Once we conquer the 28 km of rocky mountain, we'll have a picnic lunch along the way. After lunch, we'll gear up our bikes to summit before rolling down to Coc Ly bridge. Then it's just a short hop to Bac Ha!

Day 02: Bac Ha – Coc pai – Ban Phung

Once you've had breakfast, we'll be heading off on a short transfer to avoid the steep pass. Guess what! We're back on our bikes today, cycling to Xin Man. We're so excited to share that our route takes us into some of the remotest areas of north-east Vietnam! The ride starts with a gentle 10km climb of around 400m on a newly sealed road. Then, we turn off onto an unsealed rough track for the next 15km, heading into rural tribal areas. Then it's time for a big, beautiful descent of 1,000 metres to Xin Man! Xin Man is a hidden gem right on the Vietnamese/Chinese border. It's nestled in a landscape of wild mountains and forests, where 15 ethnic groups, including the Nung, Flower H'mong, Tay, La Chi, Kinh, and Hoa, live in harmony. After lunch, we'll cross over the River Chay for 40km of lovely cycling along a quiet road alongside the river. We'll have the chance to admire some truly spectacular rice terrace scenery and the towering mountain ranges, dotted with hill tribe villages. We'll conquer a long climb on a winding road that will lead us to the slope of Ban Phung Village.

Day 3: Ban Phung – Ban Luoc – Suoi Thau – Ho Thau

Ban Phung is a truly special place, nestled at an altitude of over 1500 meters and blessed with majestic, lyrical natural scenery. The terraced fields surrounding the village are a sight to behold every season when the rice is ripe. The whole village is transformed into a golden wonderland, creating a truly special natural picture.
Every morning, the terraced fields are still shrouded in a thin mist, which only adds to the picture's poetic beauty.
I'm so excited to tell you all about today! It's going to be another amazing day, full of wonderful emotions and experiences. Make sure you fully charge your phone, camera, and memory card so you can enjoy the fairy scenery here to the fullest!
Once we'd had a good breakfast to give us lots of energy for the day ahead, our group set off on our bikes to cycle downhill to the main road. We then continued on the main road to the junction and turned right into the village road, ready to conquer it! Come and experience the amazing steep slopes, weaving through the terraced fields or walking on the lovely green roads covered with plants and flowers to Luoc Lunch Village.  After lunch, we'll continue following the trail along the top of the mountain to reach Ho Thau village. Here, you can take pictures of the gorgeous clouds or watch the misty valley below. The last leg of our journey is a well-deserved treat! After a full day conquering the steep pass, we'll be dropping down to our resting point.

Day 4: Ho Thau – Nam Ai – Suoi Thau – Nam Hong

Just imagine spending a beautiful night in the vastness of heaven and earth, breathing the fresh air and watching the mists floating on the dreamy valleys every morning! It's a truly memorable experience.
After breakfast at the Eco Village, we start the new day's journey by bicycle. We'll be weaving through terraced fields, peaceful villages in the early morning, and crossing small streams that lead water for irrigation canals for the golden rice fields under the hills.
Guess what! Today is another special day in our cycling journey to discover the golden season of Hoang Su Phi. We spent almost the whole day cycling through the core area of the rice fields, with fields stretching from the top of the mountain down into all the way down to the valley. It was such a treat to see these extremely majestic and lyrical natural pictures! After a lovely lunch in a roadside village, we'll continue our journey through terraced fields and idyllic ethnic villages to Nam Hong village, where we'll spend the night.

Day 05: Nam Hong – Xuan Minh – Viet Quang - Hanoi

Time sure does fly! Today is the last day of our journey back to Mother Nature. Even though we're temporarily far away from the Creator's loving embrace, we can always return to our loving emotions!
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll all head downhill together to Thong Nguyen commune. Along the way, we'll have the chance to visit the local market of the Dao people.
After chatting with the lovely locals, we continue our journey through the gorgeous high mountains, rolling valleys, and ancient tea forests until we reach Vinh Quang commune. There, we'll meet our support vehicle again, marking the end of our cycling adventure! The group hopped on the bus to head into town for lunch.
After lunch, we'll hop in a car and head back to the airport for a five-hour ride to catch our flight back to Hanoi. That'll wrap up our program for the day! We're so grateful you joined us on our incredible bike ride!
