After a brief exploration of this bustling metropolis, we will embark on a scenic drive to Ha Giang, the gateway to Vietnam's northern highlands. Along the way, soak in the stunning views of terraced rice fields and picturesque villages, setting the stage for the upcoming hiking challenge in Vietnam.

Trekking from Thong Nguyen Village to Nam Ai Village

The second day of our Vietnam hiking challenge starts with an invigorating trek from Thong Nguyen Village to Nam Ai Village. As you hike through lush forests and serene valleys, you will encounter ethnic minority communities and experience their unique way of life. This leg of the journey offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion and natural beauty, making it a highlight of the Hoang Su phi trekking tour.

Conquering Tay Con Linh Peak

Day three is the pinnacle of our Hiking trip in Hoang Su Phi. Today, we will conquer the summit of Tay Con Linh Peak, the highest point in the region. The challenging ascent is rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Reaching the summit is not just an accomplishment but a moment to savor the sheer magnificence of nature. This Tay Con Linh Peak adventure is sure to be an experience you will cherish forever.

Return to Hanoi

On the final day, we will descend from the mountains and make our way back to Hanoi. As you reflect on the unforgettable journey, the memories of the Hiking tours in Vietnam will stay with you. The tour concludes with your arrival in Hanoi, where you can continue to explore the city's vibrant culture or relax after your exhilarating adventure.

Day 1: Hanoi – Vinh Quang – Hoang Su Phi – Thong Nguyen Trekking Adventure

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, our dedicated support crew will greet and pick you up for an exciting trekking adventure in North East Vietnam. We leave the hustle and bustle of Hanoi behind, setting out for the breathtaking landscapes of the Hoang Su Phi region. The newly constructed highway ensures a comfortable drive from Hanoi to Vinh Phuc, where the road opens up to stunning rice paddies and mountainous terrain on both sides.

As we continue our journey through Tuyen Quang, we’ll travel along the scenic Lo River, with picturesque riverside views adding to the scenic beauty. The Hoang Su Phi road, winding through mountainous landscapes, offers numerous photo opportunities with its rugged terrain and lush greenery.

In the late afternoon, we’ll arrive at Nam Hong Village, located in Thong Nguyen Commune, home to the unique Dao Ao Dai community. This tranquil village is an ideal stopover for a genuine cultural experience. You will enjoy an overnight stay at a traditional homestay in Nam Hong Village, where you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local lifestyle and rich culture of the Dao people.

Day 2: Thong Nguyen – Nhung Village – Co Lao Village – H'Mong Village Trekking Expedition

Morning: After a nutritious breakfast, we embark on a scenic trekking adventure. We begin by crossing a stream, before ascending to a hilltop that leads us to Co Lao Village, situated at an impressive 1,250 meters above sea level. As we hike, we’re surrounded by the stunning mountainous terrain and lush greenery, making this part of the trek a photographer’s paradise.

Noon: We’ll enjoy a traditional lunch in the Co Lao Village, immersing ourselves in the local culture and taking in the peaceful surroundings.

Afternoon: Our journey continues with a trek towards the H'Mong Village, nestled at an elevation of 1,600 meters above sea level. The scenery shifts dramatically as we pass through breathtaking terraced rice fields, and we’ll witness beautiful villages tucked away in the hillsides, offering a glimpse into the unique lifestyle of the local H'Mong community.

Evening: The day concludes with a delicious dinner prepared by a local H'Mong family, where you can savor authentic flavors and experience the warm hospitality of the villagers.

Day 3: H'Mong Cottage – Conquer Tay Con Linh Mountain – Return to Luoc Village Trekking Adventure

Morning: After a delicious breakfast, we bid farewell to the charming H'Mong Village and begin our thrilling Tay Con Linh Mountain trek. Our journey takes us through a peneplain at an impressive 1,750 meters above sea level, where the scenic beauty is simply breathtaking. Along the way, we’ll pass traditional H'Mong graves, explore herbal fields, and trek through ancient tropical forests as we make our way to the summit of Tay Con Linh Mountain—one of the highest peaks in Vietnam’s northern region.

Noon: We’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch at the summit of Tay Con Linh, taking in panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges, verdant valleys, and untouched wilderness.

Afternoon: After lunch, we’ll begin our descent from the summit of Tay Con Linh, trekking back through the stunning landscapes to the base of Tay Con Linh. Here, we’ll meet our support team and transfer back to Vinh Quang Town and Luoc Ecohome Village via motorbikes.

Upon arrival in Luoc Village, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the serene scenery of the village and its surrounding areas. Explore the lush green landscapes, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, and immerse yourself in the local culture. Evening: Enjoy a delightful dinner at the Ecohomestay, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventure. Overnight stay in the cozy Luoc Ecohome Village.

Day 4: Luoc Village – Hoang Su Phi Hill Tribe Market – Return to Hanoi

Morning: Start your day early to witness the breathtaking rice terrace scenery and experience the pristine nature of Luoc Village. Take a leisurely walk around the village, immersing yourself in the daily life of the Dao people. After a morning of exploration, return to the Ecohomestay for a hearty breakfast and prepare for the day’s adventures.

Midday: Following breakfast, bid farewell to your gracious host and set off on the final leg of your Hoang Su Phi trekking tour. Our first stop today is the vibrant hill tribe market in Hoang Su Phi. This bustling local market is held every Sunday and stands as one of the largest minority peoples markets in Northern Vietnam. The market is a colorful and lively gathering where you’ll see H'mong Flower, Long Tunics Dao, Nung, Tay, La Chi, C’Lao, and occasionally, the Red Dao and Phu La ethnic groups, all dressed in their extravagant traditional costumes. Here, local communities gather to buy and sell a variety of goods, livestock, and exchange news.

Afternoon: The market is open from 6 a.m. to midday, and offers an authentic cultural experience of Vietnam’s hill tribes. With 12 ethnic groups residing in Hoang Su Phi, this market serves as a hub of vibrant culture, where Tay, Nung, H’Mong, and Dao communities showcase their unique traditions. After exploring the market, we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi.

Evening: After a scenic 5-hour bus ride back to Hanoi, we’ll arrive in the city in the late afternoon. Here, we’ll say our final goodbyes to the support team and reflect on the unforgettable trekking adventure through the picturesque landscapes and rich culture of Hoang Su Phi.Thank you for joining us on this incredible 4-day trekking adventure in North Vietnam, where you’ve experienced the best of Vietnam’s natural beauty and ethnic diversity.
