Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi and Transfer to Sapa – Scenic Journey to Sapa Hilltop Town
Welcome to Hanoi! We’re excited to greet you and transfer you to Sapa, starting with a comfortable ride to Lao Cai via the newly constructed highway. Along the way, you’ll be treated to some of the most stunning views of northern Vietnam's mountains and landscapes, providing an unforgettable start to your adventure.
As we travel, we’ll stop for a delightful lunch en route, allowing you to rest and enjoy local delicacies. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to the vibrant Lao Cai border city, where we’ll take a short break to explore the area. Don’t miss the chance to capture stunning photos of the Lao Cai border gate – a unique and historical landmark.
Following our stop, we’ll begin the ascent towards Sapa Hilltop Town, a picturesque destination nestled in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Upon arrival in Sapa, we’ll check in to your accommodation, and after a short rest, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, giving you a taste of the region's rich culinary traditions.

Day 02: Sapa – Sau Chua – Ta Phin – Tram Ton – Cat Cat – Sapa – Scenic Cycling Adventure in the Heart of Sapa
After a restful night at your hotel, we’re ready to begin an exciting new day of cycling through the Sapa mountains. We’ll start from the hilltop town of Sapa, cycling downhill into the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley, a stunning destination known for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant ethnic cultures.
We’ll then take a single-track trail, winding through bamboo groves and lush forests, leading us to the charming Sau Chua village, located in the northeastern part of Sapa. Get ready to be amazed by the untouched natural beauty around you – misty valleys, rugged mountains, and serene landscapes that define the essence of northern Vietnam.
Continuing along the trail, we’ll pass a traditional Hmong village before turning onto a secondary road that meanders through rice terraces and incredible mountain scenery. Along the way, we’ll ride past beautiful botanical and herbal gardens, leading us to a stunning ruined Catholic church. This area offers some of the most scenic cycling routes in Sapa.
Today’s adventure presents an exciting challenge as we ascend towards the ruined church, followed by a thrilling descent on the single-track trail towards Ta Phin village. Ta Phin is home to the Red Dao ethnic minority, offering a fascinating glimpse into their unique culture, customs, and way of life. Spend time exploring this traditional village and learning about the Red Dao people's vibrant heritage.
After meeting the locals, we’ll hop back on our bikes and cycle a hilly road through a canopy forest and terraced rice fields towards O Quy Ho Pass, the highest pass in Vietnam. The views of Muong Hoa Valley from here are absolutely stunning, making this one of the most memorable moments of the day.
The final stretch of our cycling tour will take us downhill into the Sapa Valley, where we’ll pass through more scenic rice paddies and mountains en route to Sin Chai and Cat Cat Village. Cat Cat offers a unique cultural experience, and after cycling through its charming streets, we’ll take on a short, steep, and adventurous climb through the mountainside, leading us back to Sapa town. If you're feeling tired, don’t worry! A support vehicle will be available to transfer you back to your hotel, allowing you to relax after a thrilling day of cycling through the heart of Sapa.

Day 03: Sapa – O Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Su Pan – Nam Cang – Sapa Cycling Adventure
After a restful night and a hearty breakfast, we’re ready for another exciting day of cycling in Sapa! We’ll begin our adventure by cycling from the hotel, descending into the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley to explore some of the region's most iconic highlights. Sapa Valley is famous for its spectacular rice terraces, vibrant hill tribe villages, and mesmerizing natural scenery – it’s an experience you’ll never forget!
We’ll leave the busy Sapa town behind and start cycling towards Sapa Valley, surrounded by lush mountain landscapes and expansive rice paddy fields. As we make our way through the valley, we’ll take a turn onto a dirt road, heading towards the traditional Black Hmong village of Y Linh Ho. This picturesque village offers an authentic glimpse into the life of the local Hmong people, and we’ll stop to explore and take in the stunning scenery.
Next, we’ll cycle along a scenic concrete road that winds through bamboo groves, past vibrant rice terraces, and through ethnic minority villages. Our journey continues into Lao Chai, where we’ll take a break for coffee and tea, allowing you to rest and learn about the village’s traditional way of life.
Once refreshed, we’ll hop back on our bikes and cycle through a variety of terrains – from paved roads to off-the-beaten-path trails, including single tracks and dirt roads. We’ll cross a suspension bridge to reach Lao Chai – Ta Van Village, home to the welcoming Giay people. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to interact with locals, learning about their fascinating culture, customs, and daily life.
Continuing on our journey, we’ll cross another bridge and ride towards Su Pan, before heading down to Den Thang, Thanh Kim, and Thanh Phu. Here, we’ll stop for a traditional lunch with a local family, enjoying authentic Sapa cuisine and connecting with the community.
After lunch, we’ll tackle more single tracks and dirt roads, passing numerous villages and streams as we make our way towards Nam Cang Riverside Lodge. This charming lodge is nestled by the river and run by a wonderful Dao family. We’ll stay overnight here, enjoying a unique homestay experience in the heart of Sapa’s ethnic communities. To end the day, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner with the Dao family, followed by a peaceful overnight stay at the Nam Cang Riverside Lodge.

Day 04: Nam Cang – Muong Bo – Thanh Phu – Xuan Giao – Hanoi Cycling Adventure
Start your day early with the chance to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Nam Cang village and its peaceful countryside. Enjoy a relaxing walk or take part in local activities as you soak in the stunning natural landscapes of Sapa’s rural areas. It's the perfect way to experience the tranquility of northern Vietnam.
After a delicious breakfast featuring traditional pancakes and banana cake, and a refreshing cup of herbal tea with your host, we’ll kick off our cycling adventure. We’ll begin our journey from our cozy homestay, cycling through picturesque villages, along lush rice terraces, and across winding buffalo trails. As we cycle through Nam Cang, Nam Sai, and Suoi Thau, you’ll experience the natural beauty and rich culture of Sapa’s ethnic minority villages.
After a morning of cycling, we’ll stop for a delicious lunch in Suoi Thau. Then, it’s time to continue our thrilling ride along undulating roads and tackle a steep pass leading us to the Xuan Giao Section. The route offers some of the most incredible scenic views, with towering limestone mountains and peaceful hill tribe villages scattered throughout the region. This journey is truly a cyclist's paradise!
After reaching the Xuan Giao Section, we’ll load up our bikes and begin our transfer back to Hanoi via the new highway. The scenic drive will take around four hours, offering more stunning vistas along the way. Upon arrival at your hotel, we’ll conclude our Sapa cycling tour experience, filled with unforgettable memories of stunning landscapes and cultural immersion.

If you alter your booking after confirmation of your reservation and amendment fee of $ Zero per booking will be charged to cover administration costs incurred.
