A fascinating three day out - door activities trip offers a great experience to explore the exceptional nature beauty and culture richness of Mai chau, and Pu Luong Nature Reserve the gate way to the impressive northwest area of Vietnam.
This 3 Day Mai Chau - Pu luong Bicycle Tour offers for those who want to experience Vietnam’s village life in a remote area. Mountain cyclist will love this trip for the variety of trails- from good single track paths, undulating rough jeep trails to some climbs that are rewarded with ultimate descents, the ride passes through many villages, across lush rice paddies and above valley for stunning view.
As we ride in Mai chau, and Pu Luong Nature Reserve, we encounter Muong and while Thai in Minorities and are guests in their traditional stilt houses, allowing us to see first hand how there people live. You especially enjoy the specialty dishes including rice cooked in bamboo and grilled meat and enjoy watching traditional dancing, music performances ( bronze, drums, gongs), and Thai minority singing and dancing
Day 1 : Hanoi – Hoa Binh - Lac Village
Following to hearty breakfast, our shuttle bus takes us to Luong Son. The gateway to the outstsanding mountainous area of northern Vietnam, upon arrival Luong son, we start 3 Day Mai Chau - Pu Luong Biking through on undulating tarmac road with stunning view of mountain, valleys, sugarcane farms and rice paddies. We would have a stop enroute for refresment, and lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, we take short transfer to bottom hill of Thung Khe pass, restarting to ride 34km along the bank of Da River, you enjoy spectacular scenery dotted with Muong and Thai people villages under shaded trees, you are very impressive with little school boys and girls or buffalo, cowboy say Hello with you on the way back to their home. We take shortbreak for Kodak momment or refreshment before descent to Mai Chau village. Arriving Mai Chau at late afternoon, we cycle to Sol Bungalow Resort for over night. Taking shower, having dinner with traditional Thai food and enjoy Thai dance music performance.

Day 2: Mai Chau loop – Hang village – Don village
Wakening up you early in the morning by birds and chicken sounding, you will be treated by Thai traditional home made cake for breakfast with hot coffee and tea. After light breakfast, we continue 3 days Mai Chau - Pu Luong Bicycle tours through different villages on a mix of good single track paths link from villages to anothers, the view are stunning as the ride passes and cross lush rice paddies./ Unique to this area are fan palms, grown specifically to use for roofing. We pass hot springs, cycle cross suspension bridges and follow the contours around beautiful terraced rice fields. We stop for lunch en route in local family. After lunch, we cycle back road, single tracks, buffalo trails through rice terraced fields and bamboo forest to Hang Villages . experience on Ho Chi Minh Trail lead to Kho muong and Don Village where we will stay overnight in Ecohomes or Retreat.

Day 3: Pu Luong exploring – Cam Luong - Back to Hanoi
After breakfast, Today is the last day cycling tours in Northern Vietnam, we kick off our bike and cycle on the scenic route around Pu Luong, pass green rice paddies and villages, meeting friendly local villagers. you will bike on the village path uphill to the dirt road. This part of the road is in bad condition but offers beautiful views over Thai villages and terraced rice fields on the valley. You cycle downhill on the single track to Ban Lanh where local people still preserve their traditional weaving cloth. We continue on single trakc trail through stunning rice paddy and green tea farm to Pho Doan.
Arriving Pho Doan Village stop to visit local market on sunday if we are on right time. We keep riding on undulating road along river to admire incredible scenery in bothside of nature reserve, have lunch enroute. After lunch we continue to explore the village in Cam Luong then Transfer 3 hours back to Hanoi, arriving Hanoi at late afternoon.

Deposit and ballance payment
A non –refundable deposit of 30% per person is required at the time you make a reservation. If the booking can not be confirmed your deposit will be refunded in full. The final ballance is due 30 days prior to the commencement of your holiday and is payable by cash or internet banking. Failure to pay by due date could result in cancellation

Cash price are shown as per the price insert. We welcome credit card payment by VISA or MASTERCARD for your convennience but owning to the bank charges we are forced to apply a 3% surcharge to every credit card transaction.

Booking Amendments
If you alter your booking after confirmation of your reservation and amendment fee of $ 50 per booking will be charged to cover administration costs incurred. If you change your reservations after the holiday has commenced. Our company can not accepted any liability for loss, damage and additional expense and no refund will be made.

Cancellation:
If we cancel your booking : if the trip is cancelled due to natural disaster such as flooding, earthquake etc. Or insufficient participants to proceed with a tour, the operator reserves the right to cancel a trip 25 days prior to commencement. A full refund of all monies paid will be refunded. We shall endeavour to provide a suitable alternative where possible.
