Day 01; Hanoi Arrival
Welcome to Vietnam! As soon as you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, our friendly Snail Adventure tour guide and driver will greet you and whisk you away to your hotel, right in the heart of Hanoi's vibrant capital. Day 02: Hanoi Cycle Tour Mai Chau
Once we've recharged our energy at the hotel and left the city behind, we're jumping on a bus to drive southwest in Luong Son! Welcome to Luong Son, the gateway to the outstanding mountainous area of northern Vietnam! As soon as we arrive, we start riding through undulating tarmac roads with stunning views of mountains, valleys, sugarcane farms and rice paddies. We'll make a stop along the way for a refreshing break and to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we take a quick transfer to the bottom of Thung Khe pass, where we restart our ride along the stunning Da River. You'll be blown away by the incredible scenery, dotted with Muong and Thai villages nestled under the shade of trees. The children, with their bright smiles and curious eyes, will leave you with unforgettable memories. You'll even get to interact with the friendly locals, who will greet you with a warm "hello" as you make your way back to their homes. Day 03: Mai Chau Cycle Tour Pu Luong Escaped
We're setting off on an amazing cycling trip in the stunning Mai Chau Valley, which is full of beautiful Thai and Muong villages nestled between rice terraces and paddies. We start our day early, riding from our homestay on the amazing single track paths that connect one village to another. It's a great way to start the day, and it's so peaceful to see the villages waking up! And how have they managed to live here for hundreds of years? And the best part is, you'll find out the answer while we ride further into the centre of the villages, meet and talk with some local people on the way!
We have lunch en route in Sam Khoe village, before riding back roads to Hang Village. We ride up through Pu Luong Nature Reserve to admire the most breathtaking scenery, outcrops, limestone mountains and the Pu Luong panoramic beauty. When we arrive, we'll take a refreshing shower and enjoy some ice-cold beers and soft drinks! Then it's time for dinner and a well-deserved night's sleep in Pu Luong!

Day 04; Pu Luong Exploring by bike
Once we've recharged our full energy, we're ready to hit the road again! We're off to Kho Muong village, where we'll turn off onto a lovely single track trail along the river. Along the way, we'll soak in some stunning scenery and admire the green rice paddy fields.
We continue our journey on a lovely concrete road, meandering through rice terraces and bamboo forests, and descending into a truly beautiful valley. Along the way, we'll make our way to the charming Lanh Village. As we make our way along, you'll have the chance to enjoy the stunning terraced rice fields. Once you've enjoyed the amazing views from above, we'll visit a lovely, isolated village that's nestled in a huge mountain range. You'll even get to meet a local family! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle and culture of the local community. We hop back on our bikes and cycle along a lovely single track trail, winding amongst lush bamboo forests and rice paddied fields, all the way to Ban Hieu village. We then have the chance to tackle a short but steep distance along a stream, which leads us to an amazing waterfall where we have a picnic lunch nearby. Once we've had a chance to recharge our energies, we'll be back on our bikes! We'll be making our way through the tropical forest and along the stream to Ban Cong village, where we'll have the chance to admire some wonderful water wheels along the way. They really add a splash of colour and character to the scenery!
Once we've finished admiring the beautiful scenery, we'll get back on our bikes and head back to the resort. Or, if you'd prefer, we can take a transfer back for a refreshing drink or two!

Day 05: Pu Luong Bicycle Tour Cuc Phuong
After a hearty breakfast, we set off early from Retreat on a thrilling ride back roads to Pho Doan, the township of Pu Luong Nature Reserve. If we're lucky, we'll have the chance to visit and capture the vibrant colours of the tribal market before crossing the bridge. We'll then embark on a journey along the corridor path of the Nature Reserve, passing through lush sugarcane fields and corn farms surrounded by the charming Thai and Muong tribes. Our adventure will lead us to Cam Luong, where we'll be treated to breathtaking scenery and the chance to connect with the welcoming local villagers. We reached the Ho Chi Minh Trail at noon, and it was incredible! Then it's off to a local restaurant in Kim Tan town for lunch. After that, we're back on the road for another 45 km of incredible riding on a mix of good single track and undulating paths! The views are absolutely stunning as the rider passes through villages and across rice paddies, sugar cane and cassava farms. We arrive in Cuc Phuong National Park in the late afternoon and check in, ready to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 06: Cuc Phuong Bike Tour Tam Coc
We're so excited for today! We've got a lot of amazing things planned, like cycling through the gorgeous national park, visiting the incredible centre that rescues endangered primates, and cycling through an untouched region to admire the beautiful pipeapple plantations. And we'll cycle around Tam Coc, which is absolutely gorgeous. You'll see three grottoes and Bich Dong Temple. Then we'll explore Trang An, which is a new cultural and natural heritage site. You'll love the incredible landscapes there, which are like Halong Bay on land! After that, we'll take a two-hour boat trip to explore the caves and sights in Trang An natural heritage.
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll take the shuttle bus to the bottom of the national park. You'll love the peaceful atmosphere and the chance to discover the amazing biodiversity of the park. We'll start a new cycling day by cycling back road to the Central Gate, where you can leave the bike and visit the Endangered Primates Rescued Centre. The wonderful Endangered Primates Rescued Centre is a truly special place to see many kinds of rare primates such as langur, gibbon and loris, all over Vietnam. Many of these beautiful creatures are sadly under threat of extinction, so it's so important to support places like this. Once we've finished our visit, we'll head out of the national park on a lovely corridor path that leads to some gorgeous pineapple farms. Once you arrive in Tam Diep Town, hop on a quick transfer to Tam Coc for a tasty lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we'll set off on our bikes to explore the villages and take in the incredible scenery of the limestone mountains. We'll also take a two-hour boat trip to discover some amazing grottoes and rice fields. We'll take you on a lovely ride on back roads and single-track trails to Tam Coc, where you'll get to stay overnight.

Day 07: Tam Coc Cycling Tour Halong Bay
Halong Bay is an absolute must-see! It's one of the most incredible natural wonders in the world, with its natural beauty spanning thousands of islands, including gorgeous beaches, fascinating caves, and quaint fishing villages on the bay.
We'll pick you up at your hotel at 7:20 am, and then you can relax and enjoy a three-hour drive to Ha Long. We'll be getting on board at 11:30 am, so make sure you're ready! Once you're on board, we'll serve you a lovely welcome drink! Your guide will give you all the info you need before we check in to our cabins. Then it'll be time for the cruise to set sail!
By then, you'll have enjoyed a delicious Vietnamese lunch. As we sail to Bai Tu Long Bay, we'll pass through the charming towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, the serene Oan Lagoon, the intriguing Monster Head and Teapot Islets, and the awe-inspiring Thien Canh Son Cave.
We'll also visit the hidden gem that is Co Cave (also known as Thien Canh Son Cave). Here, you can embark on a hiking journey to the heart of the mountain to witness the wild and mysterious beauty of the cave. Imagine gazing at sparkling stalactites that resemble 'hanging lamps' inside the cave, a truly magical experience!
Once you've had your fill of exploring the cave, you can head back to the boat for a sunset party! We'll drop anchor in the calm waters of Cong Dam, surrounded by islets. The day starts bright and early with an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck! The wonderful thing about Tai Chi is that it combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast of coffee, tea and pastries served in the dining room with a stunning view of the bay!
Then it's time for the highlight of the day: a transfer by tender to the incredible Sung Sot Cave! Now for the really exciting bit! Walk up about 100 steps to the entrance of the cave. You'll be thrilled to know that it takes approximately 45 minutes to visit the cave! You'll be blown away by Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest and most impressive caves in Halong Bay, with its stunning stalactites and stalagmites. And now for the best bit! You'll be taken back to the boat by tender.
Now for the best bit! Disembark at Tuan Chau Wharf. And now, it's time to say goodbye to the wonderful crew! And now for the best bit! You'll meet again our driver to pick you up and transfer you to Noi Bai Airport to catch your evening flight to Hue. By VN... You'll arrive in Hue in the late evening, ready for an amazing day ahead!

Day 09: Hue –City Tours
After breakfast, it's time for the best part: cycling! You'll explore the incredible Hue city and citadel, as well as the fascinating Royal to Imperial Citadel and Tomb Architecture. Hue is one of the main cultural, religious and educational centres of Vietnam, and it's going to be amazing! Hue is a truly special place, the only city in Vietnam with such a rich and fascinating history. Hue is home to a plethora of attractions, nestled along the banks of the Perfume River, a river with a romantic name and an impressive 11km length! This incredible construction includes more than 100 architectural wonders, each a reflection of the fascinating lives of the emperors and mandarins who lived and ruled during the Nguyen period.
We also get to ride to the incredible tombs of ancient kings! You'll find the tombs of the Nguyen Kings in a stunning location, nestled in the hills on the southern bank of the Perfume River. And there's more! Among these tombs are four famous ones, each with its own name and unique arrangements. Each reflects the Emperor's individual points of view, personality, and tastes. This is the magnificent Gia Long tomb, the imposing Minh Mang tomb, the poetic Tu Duc tomb and the magnificent Khai Dinh tomb. If you're an architect with a passion for ancient architecture, Hue's old citadel is an absolute must-see! We cycle back to the hotel in the late afternoon, free until dinner time. We have the chance to try a delicious meal in a local restaurant, and then we'll be staying overnight in Hue City.

When you arrive in Thanh Toan Village, you'll have the chance to visit and take pictures of one of the most incredible covered roof bridges in the world! This amazing bridge was built in 1776 by a kind-hearted woman. And now for something really special! Our cycling tour takes us through some truly beautiful, tranquil villages and along a stunning lagoon to the incredible Thuan An Beach. Day 14: Quang Ngai - Sa Huynh – Quy Nhon

Then, it's time for the grand finale: we'll navigate through fishing farms and along the stunning coastline. Day 15: Quy Nhon Bike Ride Tuy Hoa
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we set off on our adventure! We left the shoreline behind and our support vehicle took us to Dieu Tri to avoid the busy traffic. Upon arriving at the cycling point, we set off on a brand new amazing cycling day! We wind along the railway and take in the stunning scenery. We cycle on an amazing asphalt road, snaking amongst peaceful villages, canals and rice fields.
The terrain is delightfully rolling, with absolutely stunning views of the highland foothills. We pass a fascinating mix of tribal and Vietnamese villages. You'll even see potbellied pigs and children with no shoes trotting across your path! And then, we loop back to the main highway with a small climb and descent to finish the ride! Then, we get to transfer to Tuy Hoa, one of the most rural regions in Vietnam, which is really exciting!

Day 19: Da Lat Cycling Tour to Bao Loc – Scenic Ride through Vietnam's Lush Highlands
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we bid farewell to the charming hilltop city of Da Lat and embark on another day of incredible cycling through Vietnam’s lush highland landscapes. Set off from the hotel and ride through vibrant flower gardens, scenic vegetable farms, and elegant luxurious villas, weaving through narrow roads and tall coniferous pine forests.
As you cycle further, you’ll encounter lush green tea farms, durian orchards, and cashew nut plantations, immersing you in the rich agricultural life of Vietnam's highlands. Along the way, you’ll pass through local markets, where you can interact with friendly locals and experience the authentic culture of the region. The route leads us to the picturesque Dong Nai water reservoir, where you’ll enjoy the calming atmosphere and scenic views. To continue our journey, we load our bikes onto a boat and cross the tranquil Thien Long Lake, arriving at Tan Nghia for a well-deserved lunch break. After replenishing your energy, hop back on your bike and continue along a scenic mixed route. The terrain includes single-track trails, dirt roads, and paved village roads, all while winding past vast green tea farms, sprawling coffee plantations, and expansive tropical fruit orchards. Day 21: Victory Ride from Dong Xoai to Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City
Celebrate your cycling triumph as you ride from Dong Xoai to Chon Thanh, the final point of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. This day marks the end of an incredible cycling journey, and we pause to reflect on the historical significance of Chon Thanh. Here, you’ll visit the monument commemorating the end of the Truong Son Route, a vital part of Vietnam's war history, located in front of the People’s Committee of Chon Thanh. After spending some time at the monument, we embark on a 3-hour transfer to the world-famous Cu Chi Tunnels, with a lunch break along the way. Following lunch, get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Cu Chi Tunnels, one of Vietnam’s most iconic historical sites. These underground tunnels played a crucial role during the Vietnam War, serving as hiding places, living quarters, and secret routes for soldiers. Here, you’ll explore the tunnel network, learn about the ingenious strategies used by soldiers, and get a firsthand look at the booby traps, command centers, and even firing ranges where you can try your hand at firing an AK-47 rifle. You’ll also get a chance to sample a traditional soldier's meal, offering a taste of what life was like underground.
