They've been living in these peaceful valleys for hundreds of years.
Join our incredible 14-day cycling tour in Northern Vietnam! You'll be immersed in the most breathtaking scenery, the vibrant colours of mountainous people, and the most challenging yet rewarding cycling experience on rugged, hilly roads. Join us and let's conquer one of the most incredible roads in Vietnam!
We've carefully and thoughtfully selected one of the most amazing cycling routes in the north of Vietnam for our cycling tour. It's perfect for customers looking for an extremely enjoyable experience on one of the best bicycle tours ever!
We'll be setting off from Ha Giang, the final frontier in northern Vietnam. Get ready to be amazed by the incredible landscape of limestone pinnacles and granite outcrops! The far north of the province has some of the most spectacular scenery in the country, and the trip between Yen Minh and Dong Van, and then across the Mai Pi Leng Pass to Meo Vac is absolutely incredible! Ha Giang is an absolute must-see! It's one of the most popular destinations in the region, but its proximity to the Chinese border still keeps visitor numbers low.
The spectacular and challenging roads in the Ha Giang rocky plateau are an incredible test for those who love to explore and move, and they're also a source of inspiration for many people because of their amazing beauty. The green landscapes and vibrant colours of nature along these roads are truly breathtaking. The scenery is both poetic and mysterious, evoking a sense of awe and wonder. The journey continues on a winding road, weaving through rustic villages, tropical forests, and stunning rice paddy fields. We venture through vast limestone mountain ranges in the north-west of Vietnam, each turn revealing a new and incredible sight.
Get ready to be amazed by an untouched and secluded region, a breathtaking fairy tale of hill tribes, and some of the most picturesque scenery and sights you'll ever see! Get ready for an incredible adventure! We'll be cycling from the north-west of Vietnam, through winding roads, high slopes, deep pools, and peaceful villages, all the way to a tranquil town where we'll stay overnight in cozy accommodation.
We'll be cycling from Sapa, then to Lai Chau, Sin Ho, Muong Lay, Dien Bien, and finally, Son La. Moc Chau is an absolute must! You'll be immersed in the most seductive and fascinating scenery, as well as stunning villages, lush scenery, magnificent mountain ranges and rustic villages.
The cycling is incredible, too! You'll be cycling on tiny village roads and snaking your way through green rice fields to reach the tourist area of Muong Hoa Valley. Get ready to interact with the lovely local people and enjoy the absolutely peaceful scenery!
And now for the best bit! We're going to continue our 14-day Vietnam North West Bicycle tour in the north west to conquer the incredible O Quy Ho pass, descending all the way to the Binh Lu section.
We had an amazing time cycling on rough and hilly roads, winding our way along the slopes of mountain ranges and snake-racing through rugged mountains to Dien Bien Phu. This strategic transport route provided ammunition, weapons and logistics, contributing to the overall success of the war – what an adventure! The magnificent victory over Dien Bien Phu in 1954!
We then had the incredible opportunity to cycle to the Moc Chau plateau, which boasts an impressive elevation of 1,500 metres! The climate here is absolutely amazing – it's mild all year round! The natural landscape is just gorgeous, with rolling grasslands and green tea hills that are green all year round. And the plum and apricot forests are hidden behind the morning mist, creating this really interesting natural scenery.
As we leave the misty town behind, we cycle further to the northeast, where we find ourselves in a world of natural beauty and wonder. Here, we find beautiful landscapes, almost intact conservation areas, and isolated ethnic villages that have remained untouched by the modern world. We conquer the steep, rocky paths winding through the mountainside, through nature reserves and peaceful valleys, and onto newly opened roads connecting the most remote villages.
Day 01: Hanoi – Transfer to Tuyen Quang and Cycle to Ha Giang
After a hearty breakfast in the hotel, we set off on our adventure! We leave the hustling and bustling city behind and hop on our shuttle bus for a two-hour transfer to our cycling point. Once we reach the cycling point, we jump on our bikes and set off on a fantastic ride along a beautiful, scenic road.
