This incredible 3-day/2-night or 4-day/3-night Mai Chau Pu Luong Adventure Cycling Tour is specially and uniquely crafted for those who are looking for a wellness and fitness holiday, love nature and outdoor activities in an untouched region in North Vietnam.
Mountain bikers will absolutely love this trip! There's a fantastic variety of trails to enjoy, from great single track paths, undulating rough jeep trails to some climbs that are rewarded with ultimate descents. The ride also passes through many villages, across lush rice paddies and above valley for stunning views.
As we ride through Pu Luong Nature Reserve, we have the incredible opportunity to meet the Muong and Thai hill tribes. We'll be staying in their traditional stilt houses, which is a truly unique experience! It's a fantastic way to see how these amazing people live. You'll absolutely love the specialty dishes, including rice cooked in bamboo and grilled meat. And you'll be blown away by the traditional dancing, music performances (bronze, drums, gongs), and Thai minority singing and dancing.
Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau
After breakfast at the hotel, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind, our bus makes the two hour transfer out of the city to Luong Son. The gateway to the outstanding mountainous area of northern Vietnam, upon arrival in Luong Son, we start riding through on undulating paved road with stunning views of mountain valleys, sugar cane farms and rice fields.

After lunch we take short transfer to the bottom of Thung Khe Pass, restart to ride 34 km along the bank of Da River, you enjoy spectacular scenery dotted with Muong and Thai people villages under shady trees, you are very impressive with little school boys and girls or buffalo, cowboy say "hello" with you on the way back to their home. We take short break for Kodak momment or refreshment before descent to Mai Chau village. Arrive Mai Chau in the late afternoon, cycle to Lac village for homestay tonight. Day 2: Mai Chau - Sam Khoe Village - Pu Luong Nature Reserve
The second day of cycling offers you the outstanding natural beauty of the Mai Chau valley, dotted with Thai and Muong villages between rice terraces and paddies. We start early to ride from the homestay on a mix of single track roads connecting one village to another, you can observe how peaceful the villages are in the morning! And how have they lived here for hundreds of years? You can find out your answer as we ride further into the center of the villages, meeting and talking with some local people along the way. We stop for lunch at Sam Khoe village before heading back to Hang village. We challenge long climb along Hochiminh trail and along Pu Luong nature reserve. However, you will be rewarded by breathtaking soaring limestone mountain views and magnificent terraced rice fields on the left side leading to the summit. Upon arrival at the summit, we rock and roll to Ecogarden.

Day 3: Nua Village - Pho Doan - Cam Luong - Cuc Phuong
After breakfast at Ecogarden, say goodbye to them, we start early to ride back road to Pho Doan, the township of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, if lucky we can visit and take photo at colorful tribal market before crossing the bridge, we ride on corridor path of Nature Reserve, through sugar cane fields, corn farm dotted with Thai and Muong tribes villages led to Cam Luong, we are rewarded by spectacular scenery, meeting friendly local villagers. We reach Ho Chi Minh Trail at noon. Lunch at local restaurant in Kim Tan town, after lunch we continue riding 45 km more on a mix of good single track and hilly trails. The views are stunning as the rider passes through villages and over rice paddies, sugar cane and cassava farms. Arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park in the late afternoon, check in and rest until dinner time. Accommodation in Cuc Phuong guesthouse or bungalow.

Day 4: Cuc Phuong National Park - Tam Coc - Hanoi
After breakfast, our minibus will take us deep into the forest. From the center of the park, we will cycle along canopied forest trails and through primeval jungle - an exclusive, tourist-free route - to the gate of the national park. We stop for refreshments and visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center. The day's cycling continues to Dong Giao - pineapple plantation where you can enjoy fresh pineapple from local farmers sold on the side road. We cycle out of the plantation to Tamdiep Township, transfer to Tam Coc for lunch. After lunch, take two hours boat ride for exploring three grottoes, the first, second and third grotto connected together with breaking scenery in open air. Then we ride through breakthrough natural beauty of Trang AN, Bai Dinh Temple, Kenh Ga Floating Villages.Having lunch in Kenh Ga before the van transfers three hours back to Hanoi. Cost are based in USD $ and coverted to Vietnamese Dong ( VND). Therefore all costs are subject to currency fluctuations. If you wish to avoid any currency surchages should there be a change in the exchange rate, you can pay for your trip inadvance of the balance date. Please ask our reservation staff to issue an invoice for your final payment.. Please note invoice are valid for two days then rewiewed. According to exchange rates. Child rate are available.

Deposit and ballance payment
A non –refundable deposit of 30% per person is required at the time you make a reservation. If the booking can not be confirmed your deposit will be refunded in full. The final ballance is due 30 days prior to the commencement of your holiday and is payable by cash or internet banking. Failure to pay by due date could result in cancellation
Payment by credit card
Cash price are shown as per the price insert. We welcome credit card payment by VISA or MASTERCARD for your convennience but owning to the bank charges we are forced to apply a 3% surcharge to every credit card transaction.
Booking Amendments
If you alter your booking after confirmation of your reservation and amendment fee free of per booking will be charged to cover administration costs incurred. If you change your reservations after the holiday has commenced. Our company can not accepted any liability for loss, damage and additional expense and no refund will be made.
Cancellation:
If we cancel your booking : if the trip is cancelled due to natural disaster such as flooding, earthquake etc. Or insufficient participants to proceed with a tour, the operator reserves the right to cancel a trip 25 days prior to commencement. A full refund of all monies paid will be refunded. We shall endeavour to provide a suitable alternative where possible.
If you cancel your booking: Notification of cancellation will be made to our company in writing. The date when written confirmation of cancellation is received by Our Company is determine the charges applicable. Loss of money is paid as follows:

Complaints
Any complaints should be communicated to the company’ staff as soon as it arises. Failure to notify our company’ staff at the time, providing company with an opportunity to rectify the cause of complaint, may result in the lost of any legal rights in respect of the particular matters.. if the issue is not solved, then the complaint should be made in writing within 28 working days of the end of the tour.
