Booking: A Booking will be in effect when Snail Adventure Tours accepts the completed booking form, and payment of the non-refundable deposit, or full-payment, has been received. Acceptance of your booking will be confirmed by e-mail to you, or to your travel agent. 

Payment & Deposit: Bookings made before 45 days prior to the tour start date; require a 30% non-refundable deposit of the total trip cost. Bookings made less than 45 days before the tour start date, must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellation & Refund: If you wish to cancel your booking, notification of cancellation must be made to Snail Adventure Tours by e-mail. The date of the cancellation is the date on which Snail Adventure Tours receives the e-mail notification. It is your responsibility to ensure that notification is received by Snail Adventure The cancellation charge is a percentage per person as shown below.

Of course we deeply regret any decision to cancel your trip to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos,Cambodia and Myanmar. However we realize that there may be unavoidable circumstances that would make this necessary.

1. Security

Customer’s privacy and order information are encrypted secret code and process by  Vietcombank 

.http://www.vietcombank.com.vn. So, we cannot see your Credit card number or internet banking user and password.

2. Minimum requirements for PC

Snail Adventure Tours’ website is compatible with Window Internet Explorer version 7.0, Firefox 38.0.5, Safari version 10 or latest version.

Travel Documents: All travelers must have a valid passport and all necessary visas or permits before the start of travel. Obtaining documentation, visas and permits is the sole responsibility of the traveler. Your travel advisor can assist in applying for the necessary travel documentation. Snail Adventure Tours accepts no responsibility or liability for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation

Prices & Validity: Prices published on this website are valid only until 31 December 2024. Prices for 2024 tour departures are subject to change. Package prices are based on ground costs, exchange rates and conditions existing at the time of publication. At Snail Adventure Tours we do our utmost to keep costs low, and we try not to increase tour prices.

Cancellation by Snail Adventure Tours : Snail Adventure Tours will not cancel any tour unless forced to do so by circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, government travel warning, terrorist activity, natural disaster, nuclear disaster, fire, severe weather conditions, the threat of disease, or quarantine. Due to these conditions, Snail Adventure Tours  reserves the right to cancel a departure at any time. The refund policy will apply as stated in the conditions of Cancellation & Refund. 

Travel Insurance: Travel Insurance is required for all clients, and they must be insured for accident, injury, illness, fatality; and medical expenses, including those related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable), and personal liability. They must also have with them the 24-hour contact number of the insurance company.

Health Requirements: Snail Adventure Tours must be advised in writing at the time of booking if any traveller has any illness, disability or is undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition. Please give full details of the condition. The client must also make arrangements for any medication or other medical treatment required during the trip.

Complaints: Should any problems arise during your trip, they must be made known to the tour operator at the earliest opportunity so that the appropriate action can be taken. If you are not satisfied with the response to your complaint, and you feel your enjoyment of the tour is significantly affected, please contact our office in Hanoi to discuss how we might best resolve the problem.

The Contract: Please read all booking conditions carefully, and be sure they are fully understood. The itinerary should also be well understood. In completing and submitting the booking form, you agree to the conditions stated herein. Submission of the booking form constitutes an agreement between Snail Adventure Tours  and the client. Only the director of Snail Adventure Tours has the authority to modify any booking conditions.

Booking Amendments:

If you wish to transfer one trip to another trip or transfer your booking to a third party, you must to notify us in writing at least 20 days prior to departure. Transferring to a third party is subject to approval by Snail Adventure Tours Company  Transferring must be requested within 10 days prior to departure.

Group bike tours & tour prices:

Tour prices are in USD and priced per person. All tour prices for group tours

Tour prices of smallest group size is 2 travelers and it’s tour price will be changed when group is over 5 and less than 25 people.

The tour prices of group size less than 6 travelers and more than 2 travelers (from 3 – 5 travelers) You will have a special offer.

The more people to join in the more bikes, more support bus, van or trucks and equipment to be used. Other hands, one more bike guide and one mechanic will be available on the whole trip.

Private bike tours and tour prices:

If you wish to have a private small group bike tour, such as for your family or a group of friends, this is possible.  Simply tells us the number in your group and the days you would like to travel.

Depending on our booking schedule and numbers of participant, we will tell you if we can accommodate your group.  Private tours are slightly more expensive than  group tours.

Waiting for more to join:

If you wish to join a group bike tour, and do not have a group, then your reserved trip will appear on our site as  waiting for more to join in in order to wait and attract other travelers to join in. Once a tour has at least 2 confirmed bookings then the status on website will change to Guaranteed to Depart and will be reflected on the Guaranted to Depart.

Client’s requests:

A group is defined as 2 travelers or more.  Therefore, a group of 2 or more can choose their own departure date.

Cancellation policy of flight, train and boat:

If an International or domestic flights and domestic train, boat tickets are booked as part of the tour, then these are totally non-refundable or transferable.

Ages of travelers as cyclists:

We welcome travelers aged 14 years and older. You can contact us for a private trip if you love to have a private tour for your group or family

Singles :

Solo travelers are always welcome and those who would like their own room have the option of paying a single supplement. Otherwise we will arrange for a shared room with another solo traveler (of  the same sex)  at no  extra cost. If there is no  roommate available, Snail Adventure Tours company will cover the additional cost of a single room.

Children :

Children are welcome on our short tours in Vietnam,Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar . However, on our longer tours the minimum age is 14 years. This is for a number of reasons and more to do with group dynamics than the difficulty of the journey.

 Accommodation:

 Snail Adventure Tours reserves the right to offer alternative accommodations of similar standards in  cases where the accommodation operator overbooks their property  for any reasons

Liability: In no event shall Snail Adventure Tours be held liable for any amount in excess of the amount paid for the tour, nor shall it be liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from this agreement. Snail Adventure Tours purchases transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurant and other services from independent suppliers not under the control of Snail Adventure Tours. Snail Adventure Tours serves only as an agent for these suppliers in securing tour arrangements, and cannot be held liable for wrongful, negligent, or arbitrary acts of independent contractors, their employees, agents, servants or representatives. Snail Adventure Tours  is not liable for any loss, damage, expense, fatality, injury, accident or delay caused by events beyond its control; or events that, even with all due care, cannot be foreseen or avoided. This includes, but not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, vehicle defect, or negligence or default of any third party. All coupons, receipts and conditions are specified by the independent suppliers. Any independent arrangements made by the client, which are not an official part of the trip, are entirely at their own risk. Snail Adventure Tours will not be responsible or liable for the contravention of any law or regulation of any country or region visited by the client. Snail Adventure Tours  reserves the right to take photographic images of passengers while on tour. These images may be used for advertising or marketing purposes without obtaining further consent from the passenger. 

Notice: Snail Adventure Tours does its utmost to provide services that ensure your safety and well being while on tour. However, Snail Adventure Tours  operates trips in areas where standards of accommodation, transport, hygiene, medical facilities and other infrastructure may not be of a standard that exist in your home country.

Bookings are accepted with the understanding that clients realize the hazards involved in the trip they are taking; including fatality, injury, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort. A certain degree of flexibility with tours, itineraries, activities, accommodation and transportation must be allowed for. Signing the booking form implies that the client has read, and fully understands all the conditions herein and that they accept all risks and obligations as stated. The client also agrees to release Snail Adventure Tours from all liability connected with these risks to the maximum extent permitted by law.

This contract, and all matters pertaining to it, shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with the laws and regulations of  Vietnam Socialist Republic. All parties to this contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of  Vietnam Socialist Republic.  regarding any claim or litigation arising from this contract.
